Project Background

Instead of relying on a single light direction, the double arm structure allows one pole to cover both the main traffic lanes and the side areas, which helps reduce dark zones along the road edges.

The optical design focuses on keeping the light uniform rather than overly concentrated in the center. This helps drivers see lane boundaries more clearly and improves pedestrian visibility near sidewalks and crossings. The 4000K neutral white light was selected to provide a more natural night-time view compared to traditional yellow lighting.

At the same time, the pole structure and arm angles were adjusted based on road width and installation spacing, ensuring each section receives consistent illumination without unnecessary overlap or wasted light.

The installation was carried out along the urban road in phases to avoid unnecessary traffic disruption. Existing lighting poles were partially reused where the structure was still in good condition, which helped reduce construction time and overall project cost.
